Description
This early 1967-era Keyo Hot Generation shape well represents the final chapter of the longboard era immediately before the Australian V bottom “Plastic Machines” turned the surfing world on its head in the summer of 1967. Keyo was at the forefront of the Shortboard Revolution with Nat Young and Bob McTavish leading the charge on their Keyo V bottoms. This particular board was shaped by Kevin Platt as noted by the small KP on the stringer. At 9’ 1” by 23” wide and 2.75” thick this board is a beautiful representation of arguably the most significant era in surf history.
