As the hunt continued the phone call came in and here it is.   A Greg Noll tight Fig 8 designed out of redwood with a “T” band stinger.   Vertical offset blue stripes with red rails.  Plenty of clear foam reveal on the deck and bottom with a glassed on black fin and multi wood tail block. The restoration was done by Ricky Carrol in Florida from R&C Surfboards.   Greg Noll and Ricky often collaborated at the Surf Expo and shared their enthusiasm about this restoration.  Greg gave Ricky permission to do so and gave him a periodic correct logo to bring this board back to its original true Glory.  Very few of these were made as you can imagine the intricacy that went into stringer configurations..   Bid for pride on this one and don’t let it get away because you don’t know when you’re going to see another for sale at NO RESERVE!!!!    Good luck to all
