We were looking for this time era board and then the phone call came in.  Here it is, a 3 Generation Greg Noll Mickey Dora Pintail Da Cat.  This bad boy stands a perfect 10ft tall and made for competition.  The deck and bottom are clear foam with a ¼ inch redwood stringer.  The rails are a brilliant salmon color with some fade on the deck side only.  The logos are perfect with no flaws with clear reveal foam surrounding them.  There are some slight surface hairline cracks throughout, but very minor.  The channels on the bottom are pronounced and classic.  The black Da Cat removal fin is the perfect complement for this board. 

Most 3 generation Da Cats were smaller in length, so this board was probably one of the first 3 generations made following its predecessor of the square tail. The line of thought then was size does matter, but the maneuverability and thinned out pintail brings the best of both worlds for performance.  Some later 3 generation da Cats even went under 9ft leading to the transitional period.   THIS IS A VERY SPRCIAL BOARD AND A VERY SOUGHT-AFTER COLLECTABLE!  ITS ONLY ORIGINAL ONCE AND HERE IT IS AT NO RESERVE!   ITS DEFINITLY GOING!
