Here is one classic nose riding machine making its debut on the auction block.  This board came from a highly regarded collector who didn’t want to let it go, then changed his mind last minute.  It has a yellow tint throughout the board with its performance Cheater step deck for nose riding.   It has a classic Harbour Cheater logo with an extra wide high density foam center stringer sandwiched with 1/8 inch redwoods and matching tail block.  Serial # 5787 on the center stringer by the logo.  This is an amazing nose rider that would hold up against any modern board made today. The Cheater model was Rich Harbour’s most popular model.  The theory of the lifted tail was to set the board higher in the wave to make it easier for nose riding.
