Description: FROM SAN DIEGO CALIFORNIA! STYLISH AND SMOOTH! NO RSERVE!!
Here is a fantastic 1970’s Caster surfboard, from legendary shaper Bill Caster. The deck is gravitating and vibrant with all the colors from the spectrum. Shaped out of Clark foam and ¼ inch balsa center stringer, rounded pintail, and single fin box with the original fin. This board was found in a surf shop where it hung proudly for decades. It has been ridden and has some tanning on the bottom with a few minor old repairs. A wet sand and polish would make the deck pop brighter than it does now.
Bill Caster was an innovative shaper from San Diego and shaped for Hobie and Challenger before starting the Caster label in 1965. Bill was well known for his rounded pintails and channel bottoms as his label took off in the late 60’s into the 70’s. This board is true collectable and will look stunning anywhere in your home or office.
