Description:   RARE!  RARE!  RARE!      100% original!    Historically significant!

Here is a Greg Noll Duke Kahanamoku Hawaiian Nollrider with the rare Square Crest logo that came to us from Nor Easter Surf Shop in Scituate, Mass.  This is an incredible find and such a wonderful addition to our auction. A signature model surfboard for the father of modern surfing.   This board has a high-density foam center stringer with offset redwood stringers.  The deck is clear foam outlined with a black pin line and pink rail wrap.  You can see two lighter horizontal stripes from the board racks where it hung for over 20 years.  We think a wet sand and polish will make this board a solid “9”.  The red in the logo is almost completed faded, which was normal for the ink they used back then making these logos.  The bottom is all clear foam as well with a removable original Da Cat fin.   Greg Noll said in his book, “The Art of the Surfboard” pg 74 “One of my proudest achievements in the surfboard business was making signature boards for Duke Kahanamoku.  We called the model Duke Kahanamoku Nollrider, and it was designed to commemorate the Duke Kahanamoku Invitational surfing Championship”  One of the rarest boards on the market today.  Bid with pride, bid for pleasure, but don’t let this one get away.  NO RESERVE!  IT’S GOING, GOING, ...
