Here is a very rare Hobie Leroy Ah Choy Hawaiian Inter Island Gun “Country Model”. A letter from Hobie quotes “This board was designed for Hawaii’s North Shore and large fast waves throughout the world.”  When we received the board, the logo was completely faded, see photos for original shots. We reached out to Hobie once again, showed them pictures of the board and expressed what our intentions were and ordered a new periodically correct logo.  Once permission was granted and the logo was sent, we had a local professional apply the new logo over the old logo and re-gloss the deck.

Hobie also quotes in the letter, “all Leroy Ah Choy Models includes a transparent color layup on the bottom overlapping to the trim line of the deck,” and that is exactly what this board has. The rails and bottom have a faint transparent tiger stripe in yellow and green. This board has a removable clear transparent fin that sits perfectly.  This board comes to us from a private collector and is a very special rare board, and is ready for its new Care Giver.  Good luck to all bidders!
