Description: HAILING FROM SAN CLEMENTE, CALIFORNIA!
FROM THE COLLECTION OF S.H.A.C.C., FOUNDER DICK METZ. “PEANUT LARSON’S REDWOOD SURFBOARD”!
Here is a very rare “REPLICA” of Peanut Larson’s redwood surfboard. Barry Haun from SHACC quotes “This solid redwood is a replica of our Peanut Larson board, the one Metz learned to surf on, was used by Peanuts and Hevs McClelland and that Peanuts is riding in the famous shot at Killer Dana Point taken by Doc Ball in 1939”. The photo in our photo gallery of Peanuts riding his board at Killer Dana is 22”x 17” and is included with this lot. This board once hung and was displayed at the Cannons Restaurant in Dana Point. Here is your chance to own a historically significant replica redwood surfboard that once stood in the Surfing Heritage and Culture Center. A RARE OPPORTUNITY! Happy Bidding!!!!!
